FIREWOOD FOR SALE

FAMILY-OWNED & PROUDLY SERVING OUR LOCAL COMMUNITIES

Welcome to Ed’s Firewood & Logging, your trusted local source for clean, seasoned hardwood and sustainable forest management. What began in 2007 as a small family venture—splitting and stacking by hand—has grown into a full-scale firewood and logging operation serving Simcoe County and surrounding areas.

Our mission is simple: to provide high-quality firewood while caring for the forests we harvest from. Using modern wheeled harvesters and forwarders, we minimize impact on the environment and help private landowners maintain healthy, thriving woodlots.

SELECTIVE HARDWOOD LOGGING

Ed’s Firewood & Logging provides professional selective hardwood logging for private woodlot owners. Our focus is responsible harvesting that improves forest health while preserving the long-term value of your land.

Using modern wheeled harvesting equipment, we remove mature or lower-quality trees with minimal ground disturbance. Each harvest is planned to support regeneration, sustainability, and strong forest growth.

If you own 10+ acres of standing hardwood timber, we can review your property and discuss the best approach for your bush lot.

MANAGED FOREST TAX INCENTIVE PROGRAM (MFTIP)

If you own a private woodlot, the Managed Forest Tax Incentive Program (MFTIP) may reduce your property taxes while encouraging responsible forest management.

We can connect homeowners with trusted professionals who assist with the Managed Forest Plan and application process. Selective harvesting can often form part of a long-term forest management strategy under this program.

If you are considering MFTIP for your property, we can help you understand the next steps.

We are committed to sustainable forest management, helping your woodlot remain productive, vibrant, and well-maintained for future generations.
